The novel “Twisted Hate: An Enemies with Benefits Romance” stands on its own as a modern masterpiece. Ana Huang is the author of this book.

In my opinion, Twisted Hate is her finest work as a writer. The author’s words grab readers’ attention and take them on the journey of an amazing world of imagination. Both Jules Ambrose and Josh Chen are antagonistic toward one another. It is common knowledge, and no one attempts to conceal it. They are always at each other’s throats and quarrel, debate, and fight regularly. There is no holding back while dealing with them.

When Jules and Ava, Josh’s sister and the protagonist from Twisted Love, were in college and living together in the same dorm, everything started to go wrong. Jules overheard Josh talking to Ava about her, and when she realized what he had said, she didn’t hold back from letting Josh know how little she felt about him. And Josh has always had the impression that Jules is careless and impulsive, which bothers him because he is convinced that if Jules is involved, Ava will get into a lot of trouble that he won’t be able to save her from. Jules has always given him this impression. And because the animosity, banter, and wrath have, over the years, morphed into a simmering sexual tension that practically everyone in their immediate vicinity can sense, when they make a bargain to enjoy a situation in which they are enemies with benefits, neither of them hesitates. Except for the fact that the more you sleep with someone, the more you see them for who they really are, and suddenly, sensations you were under the impression you’d never had before start to surface.

This sweeping saga of love, betrayal, family secrets, and heartbreak is interwoven with tales of friendship and family. In Twisted Hate, the past is reconciled to make way for a new beginning and new opportunities. Each novel’s character has a distinct voice and personality that help bring the plot to life. Reading about these characters elicited a range of emotions in me: love, sadness, anger, laughter, tears, and faith in the promise of love and a place to call home.

Terror and love are perfectly balanced in this work of art, which is very remarkable. This masterfully crafted work is filled with suspense, thrills, drama, the interplay between generations, and the fate of long-time friends. The characters are well-drawn, their recovery is believable, and the hopeful ending is well-received by the reader.

Domestic drama fans will enjoy this book. This suspenseful mystery will appeal to readers who enjoy dark, twisted tales with a dash of the bizarre, all set in one of the world’s most recognizable cities. I like to take it with me when I go by airline for a lengthy period. I don’t believe there are sufficient words in the English language for me to adequately describe how incredible this book was. Because many events take place in this story, it would be impossible for me to explain them all in my review. However, one thing that I can absolutely tell you is that the sexual tension and chemistry in this novel are incredible.

When I say that Jules and Josh spend a large portion of the book bickering with each other, I mean that they behave like enemies to lovers all through. They despise each other so much that they don’t care whether one of them gets wounded. Words are flying everywhere, and the atmosphere is fairly tense. However, it is executed to such a high standard. I enjoyed listening to their sarcastic banter and watching how they manage to get under each other’s skin; I particularly liked seeing Jules put Josh down a notch. I enjoyed the steamy scenes, as I always do with Ana’s books, but what really got to me was how Jules and Josh’s relationship developed slowly over time.

You are aware that it will happen because, well, DUH. But that’s just the way things work out. It creeps up on you gradually, then suddenly hits you like a punch. And truly, he spends a significant chunk of the story plotting her murder; I can’t help but root for the couple that ends up falling in love first. It was a real delight to observe Josh as he worked through the stages of his emotions, which included denial, acceptance, perplexity, and more denial.

I admired their friendship and how they supported one another even when it was the last thing either of them expected, how their lives shifted as a result of the other person, and how everything in their life made more sense when they were together.
